Chinese automotive titan Dongfeng Motors (DFM), a state-owned company renowned for its brands Nammi, eπ, Voyah, M Hero, and Aeolus, is making its way to the streets of Singapore for the first time. Distributed exclusively by Volt Auto, the sleek and advanced Dongfeng Box, the debut electric vehicle (EV), will be showcased at the new showroom in Tai Seng Exchange.

Backed by Dongfeng Motors' 55 years of automotive excellence, the vehicle, known in China as the Dongfeng Nammi 01, features the world's first Mach Power 10-in-1 Technology in the automotive industry. This technology seamlessly integrates performance, connectivity, and safety into one powerful system, enhancing the driving experience for city drivers across all aspects. The EV and technology has been well-received outside of China, surpassing 10,000 export units within just two months of its launch.

Designed For The City

Beyond its standout aesthetics — including frameless doors, island armrest with isle console, and a floating control panel that contribute to its sleek, modern look — the Dongfeng Box is designed for both style and functionality at an accessible price point. It offers premium features like the Crystal LED headlights and Ruby Double C tail lights that enhance visibility and add to its distinctive design. Additionally, the interior offers 32 customisable ambient lighting options, providing a touch of personalisation and comfort that is typically associated with higher end vehicles.

Built on the Quantum Architecture Platform 3, this car provides enhanced driving dynamics, safety, and energy efficiency. With its 180° reclining front seats and spacious boot for practicality, it's ideal for both daily commutes and weekend getaways.

The Ideal Singaporean Vehicle 

Singapore's shifts towards electric vehicles is increasingly evident, with nearly a third of new cars registered this year being electric. In line with this trend, the Dongfeng Box will provide additional choices for eco-conscious Singaporean drivers, featuring exterior 7 colour options including Icy Blue, Icy Blue with White Contrast Roof, Aurora Purple, Aurora Purple with White Contrast Roof, Sunlit Green, Sunlit Green with White Contrast Roof, and Twilight White. The vehicle will retail from $148,888 during the launch promotion.

With plans to introduce more Dongfeng models, including the eπ 007 and other SUV models within the next two years, Volt Auto is committed to its mission of bringing cutting-edge global electric vehicle technology to Singapore's rapidly growing urban landscape.
